We set our own test, and failed it

The gate was ours
The test we ourselves named as the proof of value. We lost it to a sort anyone can do in a spreadsheet.

So this is a measurement, not a refund pitch. It shows where the filed amount and the required amount disagree. Whether any of it is recoverable is a question for a licensed broker holding your documents — and often the filing was right and the rule is simply strange.

The conflict, before you have to look for it

Published by Mrigank Singh, who also runs an India–US ocean freight forwarder. It bends one way: findings that make that corridor look cheap or growing are commercially convenient to him. That is the direction to check us in.

Four things follow. We do not file with CBP — no licence, no post-summary correction, no protest. No contingency and no fee on any refund: the invoice does not move if the answer is “your rates are normal”, which is the most common answer. Nobody in your transaction pays us. We will not solicit your freight.

Disclosure is not separation, so here are the commitments that go with it. What you send is read on our own server and goes to no third party. It is never sold, never shared, and never used to approach you about freight. If you would rather we held nothing, say so and it is deleted — see what is kept, and for how long.

Three more things we cannot do

Price about a third of the money at all 32.6% of the dutiable value we can see turns on what only your own form declares. Named, never hidden.
