Some data this site collects, it refuses to serve. A withdrawn series is one we no longer trust enough to put a number in front of you — the page stays up, the reason is printed on it, but the download returns nothing. We think the refusal is worth as much as the data: a series that silently keeps publishing after its source breaks is how bad numbers get laundered into good-looking charts. If you were citing a series that has since been withdrawn, the withdrawal notice is your correction.
