These two tracked within ten index points through all of 2024, then split by 27 to 58 points from March 2025 and never reconverged. The divergence runs in the impossible direction: US customs recorded imports from India flat to strongly up across exactly the window in which PortWatch shows Indian ports losing up to half their container calls. Goods cannot reach the United States without leaving India.
